Allison was first introduced to the food industry while working in restaurants and catering in high school and college. She went on to graduate with a business degree from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota and entered the corporate world.
Her background is in buying and planning – driving cost savings initiatives through sourcing and inventory management. She excels working cross-functionally, facilitating information between sales, business operations, and franchise owners. Allison brings a level of enthusiasm, organization, and customer services in her support role at FoodOps.
Adam Smith is a results-driven operations executive. Most recently serving as Vice President of Operations at Illicit Elixirs, Adam has consistently demonstrated his ability to drive operational excellence and bottom-line results.
Throughout his career progression from Supply Chain Analyst to Vice President, Adam has built a reputation for combining analytical precision with practical leadership. At The Lab’s pilot production and quality testing facility, he successfully scaled operations and fostered a culture of innovation and problem-solving, driving over $300,000 in gross profit year over year. His tenure at BevSource showcased his talent for business development, where he secured nearly $1M in new development and pilot service agreements while building lasting partnerships across the industry.
Known for his “yes, how?” attitude and hands-on leadership style, Adam excels in autonomous environments where creativity meets clear objectives. He brings a unique blend of strategic thinking and practical experience to his work, having managed everything from complex supply chain logistics to quality control in shelf-stable beverage production. His commitment to team development and customer satisfaction has consistently resulted in improved operational efficiency and strong business relationships throughout his career.
Lan has built a strong foundation in the food industry through his experience managing quality assurance programs and production operations. Over the past five years, he has specialized in food safety and compliance, successfully leading audits for SQF, FDA, organic, and gluten-free certifications while implemening operational improvements.
With a background in economics, Lan understands that resources are often scarce. This perspective drives him to enhance his data analysis skills and enables him to make data-driven decisions effectively. Lan also has a passion for problem solving, approaching challenges with creativity and determination to deliver impactful solutions.
